Bobby, founded Schaef Designs in Southern California in 1989.
She designed, created, and sold custom couture knits to an exclusive list of clients around the world. When collections were complete she frequently made jewelry to go with each garment in complimentary colors, lengths appropriate for various necklines, and styled for all occasions. In some instances,
garments were designed to coordinate with the jewelry.
Bobby created her Signature Couture Collection for discerning women who need jewelry to wear in the office, for speaking engagements, social events and much more. These designs are one of a kind necklaces of the finest sterling silver designer chains blended with luxurious precious and semi precious gemstones and closed with extraordinary clasps. A customer favorite, the original designs are produced in limited editions and have a following of collectors.
The Luxe Gemstone Collection includes original artisan necklaces, bracelets, and earrings handcrafted from sapphires, rubies, diamonds, tanzanites, citrines, amethysts, ametrines, peridot, topaz, aquamarine, pearls, 14kt gold, 24kt gold vermeil, and sterling silver. A naturalist at heart, Schaefer enjoys designing after working in the garden, choosing colors currently visible in a blooming flower bed. Bobby believes when you look good you feel good. For centuries many have believed that gemstones have healing properties, so there may be more to this than meets the eye.

Also her love of animals shows up frequently in her jewelry. Not only does she have a Series dedicated to totem animals, there are endangered species and an entire collection for cat and dog lovers. Last but not least, Bobby believes jewelry is important for all events and designed a special line for lady sports fans including NFL football, NBA basketball, Indy 500, and NASCAR sports charm bracelets.
Bobby has most recently completed her new book, When Money Matters Today's Step by Step Guide for a Recession Resistant Life . After 11 years of research & experiential trials, the timely completion of this work is ironic to say the least considering current economic conditions.
